高校校史馆具有文化功能和教育功能,在大学生素质教育中有着不可替代的作用和意义,档案工作者做好校史实物收集、整理、编研等工作,深入挖掘校史文化,充分发挥高校校史馆在大学生素质教育中的重要作用,对培养高素质的当代大学生有着深远意义。

Having both cultural and educational functions, university history museums have an irreplaceable role to play in the quality-oriented education for university students. Archivists thus are expected to do a good job in the collection, arrangement, compilation and research of archival materials or data relating to the history of the university as well as in the thorough investigation into the historical and cultural backgrounds of the university. Giving full play to the important role of university history museums in promoting the quality-oriented education for university students is of far-reaching significance to the cultivation of high-quality university students in the contemporary era.
